I hope everyone's year is off to a great start. It's been a busy one for me already. I've got lots planned in the Dark Souls world for 2017. If you haven't already done so, make sure to check out Shattered Souls, book six. It was released late last year.
Almost exactly one year ago, I started re-releasing the series as longer books. Hopefully fans have found this to be a good thing. I definitely want people to be satisfied with their purchases and feel they are getting their money's worth. The longer writing style means that it has taken a little longer to get books to market. I really liked releasing more frequently because it seemed to build excitement in fans. I'm hoping to get back to a more regular cadence this year. It would probably help if I didn't have that whole day job thing to keep distracting me ;) My primary objective when writing is to share stories. I write stories that would entertain me and then hope that others will enjoy them, too. It's an added bonus that I'm able to make any money at all telling my stories. Seeing people buy my books, leave reviews, sign up for my mailing list, and ask when the next release will be is just about the coolest thing in the world. I'm so grateful for anyone that has taken the time to read one of my stories. In the next month or so, I will be releasing the next installments in the Blackwood Vampire series. This is a new series set in the Dark Souls world, and eventually there will be some crossover with Kaylie's story. I can't wait to get to that part because I think fans will love it. Later in the spring, I will release the seventh book in Kaylie's story. If you've read the sixth one, you'll remember there was a bit of a cliffhanger than needs to be resolved. I look forward to sharing all of this with you and hope you enjoy reading these stories as much as I enjoy writing them!
