![]() Here in the States, it's Thanksgiving week. Schools and a lot of companies shut down Thursday and Friday (except for the retails shops) which means I've got some extra hours to spend writing. I've been insanely hard at work on Destined Souls. I know many of you have been waiting a looong time for this book and I desperately wish I had released this a while ago. Unfortunately, life had other plans for this book. I'm hoping to get this finished up and through the editing process within the next two weeks, if not sooner. I really appreciate all of you that have reached out to let me know how much you enjoy the series and politely inquiring as to when book seven will be available. The answer is SOON. Don't forget to sign up for my mailing list if you haven't already done so. My ML subscribers will be the first to find out details of the release (plus get free books.)
I don't do a lot of outlining before writing- usually just some high level themes of what I want to capture in a chapter and then I start typing. The words come in spurts and usually start faster at the beginning, lag in the middle, and then come on strong at the end. I'm always surprised when I type the final words in a story. I'm never ready for it to be over, but I'm always anxious to share it with my readers. In the interest of sharing, below is a somewhat spoilery excerpt from Destined Souls. Kaylie & Rafe. Sigh. I adore them.
I'll be posting a sneak peek soon into the first chapter of so of the book. I'm really excited to see what you all think. Let me know in the comments what you're hoping to see in Destined Souls.
